Our Cakes
All our cakes are made with 100% coconut oil - the healthiest oil on earth. We also use raw cane sugar which still retains minerals and vitamins originally in the sugar cane plant. Apart from the gluten free cakes, our cakes are made with organic spelt flour. This is an ancient flour which was used by the ancient Egyptians and ancient Romans and is the 'mother' of wheat. It contains more protein and fiber than wheat and also has ingredients which stimulate the body's immune system. Even though it contains gluten, it can often be tolerated by gluten intolerant people because it is whole and unadulterated.
We don't use any preservatives, but the cakes all have a natural shelf life of 2 weeks (kept in the fridge).
